(32) Premium aluminum oxide grain is coated with a repositionable Velcro lamination. These discs can be applied and removed many times. The Velcro also provides the disc with added strength.
(16) Premium aluminum oxide grain is coated on heavy "C" weight paper backing. A special stearate top coat prevents loading. Easily removed liner paper.
Coated with a high performance "hot melt" pressure sensitive adhesive (psa). This adhesive is direct coated to the backing material of the abrasive cloth. With this process, the PSA adhesive stays on the disc and is less likely to remain on the disc back up pad or flatten at the time of removal.
(24) Non-woven hook 'n loop discs remove debris and contamination without excess stock removal. Non-woven discs offer a more consistent and higher quality finish than other conventional abrasive products. The discs run cooler and this reduces the chance of burning or discoloration of the part being finished. Surface conditioning discs are excellent for blending and matching straight-line finishes on stainless steel.
